There's nothing "wrong" with Adel, he's a talented player without a doubt. The problem is his ego and his disregard to a team system game. He's useless of late to the team because he's so damn predictable - you know he's going to try and go through six players and blast a low % shot. Absolutely frustrating. If Harry can straighten out his mindset and get him off selfish train, he's be a massive asset.

The return of Remy, Hoilett and Zamora might have something to do with winning a couple of matches.

Writing Taarabt off demonstrates complete naivity

Must admit it we have much more pace in the team since he aint been playing

When he returns he cant be slowing down play

He aint the reason we aint been winning and to suggest that is silly

Would have an in form Taarabt in the team any day

                    We still need him around.

We have been collectively abysmal for much of this season and Adel took a lot of flack because he was our predictable ball out. Everyone figured that out surprise, surprise.

He proved at Chelsea he can still be vital for us and I predict we'll see him used much more in a front role, possibly subbing, against deep back fours.

This guy's goals got us into the EPL in the first place and his ability can be harnessed. His time will come again.

Townsend for me all day long. Quick, lively, reads the game well and can pick a pass. Without adel in the starting 11 there is hope

Actually think he can link well with Remy, Taraabt can pick a through ball well for a pacu striker who plays off the shoulder

We looked like a real TEAM at Southampton too.

Adel out has forced creative players like Hoilett, Townsend and SWP to raise their game more, which they all did today.

I also wonder if he really was "injured" today.
