I think we need derry to play for th run in someone with a cool head someone to break up play and someone to play the simple pass I just wish he was 10 years younger.

He can pick up the loose ball between the defence and midfield and start attacks by feeding the wings.Comment

Well anyone can 'start attacks by feeding the wings'. Derry is worse at doing that than all our other midfield options. You could make a case for Mbia being a worse passer, but he makes up for it by being able to carry the ball forward himself.
I just don't see the need for someone sat in front of the defence against this specific opponent at home. And Derry is awful when asked to play higher up the pitch and cover more ground.Comment

We have a more defensive mindset when Derry plays.
I'd start with Granero & M'Bia with Taarabt behind Remy and Townsend & Hoilett on either wing tomorrow. I'd introduce Derry if we manage to have a lead with 20/25 mins left, he's a very intelligent player and is excellent at helping us keep our shape.Comment
