Worst I have seen him play. I have stuck up for him in the past but its time for him to take his turn on the bench.

I thought even his effort was questionable today and everytime he gets the ball he stops and turns back to his goal and kills any move. He looked like a player who knew we are down and if Mackie has given up the ghost, as his performance suggested, god knows what the others are thinking

Was awful today. Couldn't work out what he was even supposed to be doing in that first half - he didn't get close to zamora, he didn't bust a gut to get into the box, he didn't make runs in behind the defence or out wide to stretch the play. Whenever a move reached him, his lack of vision became all the more obvious as he was in the centre (at least on the right he only has 50% of the pitch to look for passes in). Seriously awful performance, he really has to be dropped asap.

There was a moment near the end of the first half where we broke and had 4 against 3, Traore and another were bursting through in acres of space down the left - instead of looking up and playing the ball through Mackie turned back then went right and phucked the move up.
