If you live within travelling distance,are fit and able and have the financial clout to attend games then yes I agree that the op is a better fan because he says he gets off his #### to support the team in person but..................

Many cannot afford to do so or are unable simply because of logistics or maybe they are physically unable to do so but that does not make them any less of a fan then the rest of us who are able to attend each game we play

I see true fans that do what they can in supporting there team. This could be going to games as many as they can, listen to the games on radio, watching the game or those have to work when we playing have the score text to them or the first thing they want to know as soon as they finish. But most of all true fans are one say they support the team and proud in saying it.
