Personally, IF we go down, I am looking forward to the following in the Championship

    1. Winnable games !
    2. Reduced ST prices
    3. Not having to watch Alan Shearer on MOTD
    4. Rebuilding with a team of players who actually want to be at the club
    5. Not being in a relegation battle all season (hopefully!)
    6. More Saturday games

Would be great to stay up but if we go down and we are actually financially stable, then lets look forward to the revival of our club.

Instead of Shearer on MOTD you'll probably end up with the tool that is Claridge on the league show.... both shocking shows imo.

        1. I wouldn't get too complacent, the Championship is a very tough league. Ask Blackburn, Bolton and Wolves.
        2. Not guaranteed to be reduced.
        3. Alan Shearer or Steve Claridge? I know who i want...
        4. Again, not guaranteed.
        5. We've been in Championship relegation battles before and I don't think we should immediately think we wouldnt be in one again.
        6. I'll give ya that one.

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

The last time we went down it took 15 odd years to come back- look at Hull, Birmingham, Leeds, Leicester, Middlesbrough, Blackburn and so many others that have gone down. They are big big clubs that havent 'done one season in the Championship' before coming straight back.

We would become just another team in that league and will have to slog it out for a fair few seasons before we make a return IMO. West Ham were very very lucky to do it in their first season. They did it by keeping the majority of the relegation team together, we will be starting from scratch.

I dont think we'll come straight back up but I would bet we can win more games than we have in the Premiership !

ALso - need to remember this is the worst year to go down with the huge increase in TV money next year. Just slipping further and further behind.

You have to feel a bit sorry for Barnsley as everyone quotes that fixture as the downside to returning to the Championship. Can't disagree though!

...Don't wanna be too dramatic, but this alone could see us never return. I can envisage same 3 up and down...Premier League closed shop.

It's a fantastic league but I don't think we should be thinking about it yet. There's loads of points to play for yet. It's not the British mind set to throw in the towel
                            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO
