Two 0-0s in our next 2 games will be enough for now. After Utd, that's when it gets to the knockout stage.

Last time this was tried the team was torn into tiny pieces by Liverpool who then stamped on the tiny peices and finally took a leak on them all with no response - and that was just the first 15 minutes !!

We didn't try taking it to them, we were just simply god awful that day. I agree with rmj1982 tbh; we have to go at em - sitting back for a 0-0 is no good to us, as we will more than likely lose to Utd, that would take us to near enough March still shy of the 20 point mark.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Well since that game a defensive approach has been adopted making for an unbeaten 2013 that most would have thought impossible.

And away draws are no good? How so?

Current total points = 17 pts
          4 wins and 6 draws = 18 pts
Total for the season= 35 pts

We would all like to see win after win after win.

But truth is the players took the pi$$ for the first half of the season leaving a mountain to climb second half and some solid defensive performances are about the only bright spot of the season so it make sense to build on those bright spots.

Winning a match also involves not conceding.

Swansea are an excellent side, especially at home. They will be hoping we play as most of you are advocating: pressing high up the pitch, perhaps with two strikers.

This will just leave Derry covering a massive area, likely with only Mbia for company, versus three Swansea midfielders who easy pass their way through us.

Far better to play Adel up front, with Townsend and SWP/Mackie or Remy if fit bursting past him on the counter. Derry holding, and Mbia alongside Jenas/Granero pressing ahead and linking with Adel.

Good post, let in 1 goal in 5 league games, keep it tight at the back only need to score once to win...

I'd say keep it tight and counter as best we can, hopefully we will have Remy's pace to aid these tactics. A draw would be a good result regardless. We try to play an open game at Swansea we'll get picked apart.
