Thought exactly the same.With Remy out,two coming back from injuries and three out on loan,we're totally bereft of strikers.Perhaps I'm being a litlle naive,but could we get Odemwingie on loan deal tied into a permanent move in the summer? "Desperate straws" is right.5 or 6 games ago we were 5 points adrift of safety.We whittled that down to 4 with some impressive displays,now all of a sudden we're 6 points adrift and running out of games.

Don't think they apply in prem. we had no keeper last year and they said no. Can only add players who have no club if there is space in 25 so in theory if DJ left think we could add an unattached player

if DJ goes on loan it must be that he was promised this before crouch and odenwingie didn't happen and the Remy injury. if so why give him a place in the 25? unless it will free up a place if he goes. sure this is not the case. i think Louis Saha is out of contract and although past his best would be a better option than mackie on his own up front.

If there is a way that HR can get a striker in on loan, you can be sure he will find it.
But, as Harry stated in his post-match press conference yesterday, we will have to make do with what we have, unfortunately.

Bring Cisse back.This time last year we were raving about him and he's better than our other alternatives and with the extra wide support in the shape of Townsend ,you never know.Better do it soon though as I'm sure Cisse is enjoying his cushty life in Qatar.

I think when we applied for an emergency GK, Murphy was still available. We can sign a free agent player now if he was free when the window closed. During the TW I believe, clubs are allowed up to two each of these, short or long term loans, theoretically four players. But not three or four from one group. Don't ask me what happens if a short term turns into a long one cause I don't know

I'll explain the 25 man rule seeing as u obviously know nothing about football!

All teams in the premiership must play 25 players, not more, not less, in every single game they play.if not they will be automatically relegated and sent to Milton keynes.
