Massive loss, his partnership with clint hill has been superb and him leaving could cost us valuable points In the next few games

Great pics and its things like that that show what complete and utter respect the rest of the squad have for him as a pro and man.... top footballing man and will be massive boots to fill on and off the pitch.

Goodbye Nelsen! A real leader and a rock in our defence. Will be sorely missed.

That was some send off, made the hairs stand up on my neck. Great to see the rest of the lads give him the guard of honour too. As Derry said in his radio interview - Nelson was humbled by the reception - only played about 20 games so really shocked. Deal with it Ryan, you've been a massive rock and just gutted you have to go.

Great to see the lads are together, well the majority are anyway. Team spirit is everything

As a Toronto FC supporter (and a guy whose gf has a photo of Nelsen in his All Whites kit on her computer!), we're honoured to have him on this side of the Atlantic. It's too bad you all have to lose him, but it means a hell of a lot to our club to have a leader like him taking the helm.

                  Cheers from Canada

The guard of honour for Ryan Nelsen was Clint Hill's idea. Captain leading from the front - on and off the pitch. Credit #QPR
No surprise this. Great tribute to Ryan which was very much deserved. A shame Clint and Derry didn't arrange a firing squad for Anton....

The only thing I can't understand is why it was not officially announced at the game, as the fans didn't have a chance to show their appreciation.

Cesar apparently thought the guard of honour was for him:

Been an absolute top signing for us. Gutted he is leaving. Still feel in some ways he is deserting us at the wrong time. I wish he could have honoured his contract.
