Yeah but Christmas comes around more regularly than "Anton's day" on a football pitch.... But on that day though, he's a world beater.

As I recall he got real praise on here after the home game against Chelsea earlier this season.

There is a decent defender in there and we saw it occasionally, but recently there'd been far too many lapses of concentration.

although it's good to see him away from the squad (if we get good replacements) - I don't think the fact that a decent defender turned into someone who can't be bothered to play, concentrate or even keep fit, whilst at our club, is anything to rejoice about.

It's actually a shame that we ended up like this - he has far more than he has shown for us since the race row - and that I find quite disapointing as the club and fans stuck by him and we seem to have got nothing in return.

When he can be bothered Anton can do a job....however recent evidence has suggested he can't be bothered at all anymore. It hurts me to watch him lumbering around the LR pitch, he doesn't run or sprint, it's more a sort of waddle...
