Dunno why being a high-stakes gambler would necessarily give you much ITK footy info. The bloke could just be sat refreshing WATRBs and trolling twitter like everyone else

Maybe Tony's so depressed he's turned to gambling and was sat at the table....

"On Samba, again the chairman is dealing with this. At this stage I don't think that's a goer. I like Christopher Samba and he is a very good player but at this stage I don't see him leaving Russia. Things can change but at this stage we're not close to doing anything."

Seeing as I started the thread about being told this at the start if December before any rumours about him coming at all were about, I think that statement is pretty poor tbh.
You feel free to think what you like, but my pals old man shares his info with his son who in turn tells me - every bit I've ever had has been spot on (including Adkins getting the bullet recent which he lumped on at 22/1). Samba is the only QPR related bit of info I've heard hense I shared on here - may not come off but , as I say, shows he weren't far off as Arry has confirmed TF is trying to make it happen.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Would have thought he was bound to be a target considering we spent 3 months chasing him last season and Harry was apparently interested when at Spurs.

Samba played in all Anzhi's 19 matches this season with an average of 87 minutes - so why would they sell him?
He also vowed to stay despite the racism banana incident.

This one would really surprise me! He is probably on £12-14m and 90.000 p/w which is way too much me thinks. We could and should get 3-4 other players for that amount of money.

Samba is the player I really want to sign and the one who will make the biggest difference to us.........If we get Caboue, Samba, Crouch and Odemwinge I am certain we can stay up.
