    'Arry to blame for Saturday

Not feeling too fussed about it now but 'Arry picked the team, knew the players. You could see from the line up there was no balance and it just looked like a poorish Championship side at home to a decent League 1 side, talented young manager and wanting a Premiership scalp. Was a disaster waiting to happen. Disrespectful to both MK Dons and fans to field that side. Maybe not his fault but had he looked at our history in this competition he would have known how badly we wanted a win and didn't want to yet again be humbled by lower league opposition. Also we were on a good run and a decent result on Saturday would only have helped confidence regardless of who was on pitch.

He can put whatever spin he wants on it. My dog could have been knocking on his door but I wouldn't expect him to be picked on that basis!

Anyway now we are a couple of days from it not overly bothered as I say and much more important matches coming up but bit annoyed at 'Arry spin on it all. Going back to my dog he could have seen that 11 would struggle.

Harry picked the team but whatever way you look at it them 11 players should have the quality to beat a league 1 team of players if they had applied themselves. They didnt, we lost and its down to the players all day long.

      Agreed

Not only that - Im glad we didnt risk Adel, Mbia and Remy. Just no point!

If they had played and lost then we would be going MAD!!

(To the OP) So if he'd picked say Adel, Remy, Hill and M'Bia and they got knocks meaning they couldn't play against City or more importantly, Norwich, you'd have been happy with that?

Harry can't turn water into wine.... No one could get anything out of that collection of fringe players and deadbeats. And Harry, v sensibly, had his eye on Man City and Norwich so didn't risk our first teamers. This isn't Harry's squad. As he says he'd make drastic changes if he could. If he rests Clint, Nelsen, Onouha and Mbia he has to play the wretched Anton. And Harry hoped he wouldn't make the elementary mistake we all knew he would to concede the second goal and cost us the game.

that 11 are still part of our 25 man squad and some of them have clearly been moaning they wanted / deserved a chance. They got one and were useless.
the cup is a chance to get a few wins together, build confidence and momentum
how many Rangers fans wouldn't go to a semi final or final at Wembley?
it's nonsense to say the cup is a distraction
we still had 7 internationals out there on Saturday
they were a disgrace and most of them don't deserve another chance IMO

I agree he should have rested some key players but he went too far and picked a poor side who yes I would have expected to scrape a result of some kind but who it would have been obvious would struggle.

It had only three changes to that team which won WBA away. DJ for Cisse, Fabio for Onuoha and Granero for Derry. Should have done their job.

You can blame Harry or TF

BUT the fact is, those 11 players are the guys who are being paid to do a job.

I think its clear to say Arry is doing a remarkable job for us and that result was not his doing.

No disagree. Every single one of our players on the pitch on Sat is supposed to be and is better than the MK don equivalent. So should have had enough to see off the lower league side.

THe problem lies with certain members of the squad who for what ever reason didn't perform on the day. We have a history of this happening long before arry and it will continue long afterward he has gone.

anyone on this forum who thinks that performance and conceding 4 goals at HOME to a team 2 leagues below us is acceptable, needs to go away and look at themself.
I travel a long way, at great expense and expect to see more effort, passon, heart and desire.
I have no problem losing, if our players put in a proper shift.
If we all put in so little effort in our work, we all be job less
                          FACT

                          REALLY SHAMEFUL

I don't rate several of those who played Saturday. I despise two of them. I don't, however, blame Harry.

I dont think people are saying we played well.

The thread says. Harry is to blame!

The argument is that Harry isnt to blame and that our Fringe players are not good enough! Simple!
