My normally optimistic mood was absent on friday but on reflection this season is not lost quite yet and my laymans view of TF from the outside is that he tries his best and invests and it is the football side that has gone astray which is not really his side of things. For example if the players had fulfilled even half of their potential this season then the club would be in a much healthier position in the table. So I would not be jumping on his back myself.

I agree. The club have made some poor decisions in the transfer market. A few of them have been panic buys.
