Just shows how people on message boards can twist things and make life sound miserable isn't it. I listened to the whole thing and NEVER did H say, imply or even more or less say if we don't get people in we won't stay up!! He did say he thinks we have a good chance of staying up and getting quality in will help that, he did say it hasn't been easy and he also said if we weren't on the back of a good run we wouldn't have even considered buying anyone and would have just looked to get along with what we had.
He then said that he didn't want to risk some of his players in the cup but that's what a squad is for - MKD are a decent team and play some good football - but we should have enough to beat them with our squad.
Somewhat different to what you posted but it doesn't really make a doom and gloom post such a good read when you post the managers words but precis them to fit your mood :strive:

I watched it. The operative words in my post were 'more or less'..... That was my feeling from what I heard and saw. Harry used the word difficult many times in relation to getting players in. He said he would reshuffle the team tmw and his squad 'ought' be good enough to beat MKD and that it would be a problem if we didn't. I can assure you it wasn't my intention to twist anything Harry said or misreport anything. I thought Harry was downbeat. I myself am very hopeful of staying up this year.

The fact of the matter is harry stated he has been away from home for 12 days. at 65 he is going to be knackered with treking across europe along with jet lag from so many flights.
