One of the most ignorant statements I've seen here for a long time - and given the content of Marshy's daily content that is really saying something.
You obviously don't know much about Air Asia if you think Fernandes has bought a player to QPR to promote it. He turned the business from a total Government disaster when he bought it for no more than Bates paid for Leeds, he bought it warts and all including a book of debt of in excess of $10M and the only 2 aircraft they possessed - 2 obsolete livery Boeing that were worth nothing.
Inside 12 months the Company turned a profit and by the start of 2004 the fleet had increased to the extent of 10 brand new AirBus. In the next 2 years the airline added subsiduries throughout Asia and quickly became the biggest and most successful low budget airline in Asia. It is now recognised as the most successful in the world.
They own a livery of more than 370 aircraft and serve the whole of Asia through various subsidiary ventures. They earn more income each month through sub-leasing and chartering their planes than most budget airlines can generate through an entire year's worth of sales.

Tony Fernandes does not need to introduce a South Korean footballer to QPR to promote his airline. In fact, the only thing he would be doing would be promoting QPR in Asia and maybe, just maybe, some Asian people would travel over to the UK to watch little old QPR. The greatest majority of them would fly on a budget airline, yes, and that would normally be his airline but the number of people that would actually do this wouldn't pay for the ink on his contract signature.
Think of an original way to have a dig at the man but at least make it plausible or I will have to re-named you Marshy the second

Look at the type of players harry signs, he rarely sings a risky international, he usually signs players out of the epl who are underperfoming and gets the best out of them.
