How good would it be if they let him play as the game's in England and he now plays here....

A QPR player playing for Brazil.... awesome and completely unthinkable a couple of years ago.

Madness really considering in my short lifetime I have seen such keepers as Ademole Bankole pull on our keepers jersey. How far we've come eh!
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Be even better if Hodgson picked Green for England too.

He only has to be released when there are designated FIFA international games. They will be the same time when England play so he won't miss any games for us.

I'm going to Wembley for this game. Looking forward to it. If he keeps playing well we could have a player in the Brazil team when the World Cup is in their country next year!

Ah Ade Bankole thing is he had all the physical attributes to be a top keeper. Problem was he is 6 foot 5 and jumps to 5 foot 5

Scolari praises Júlio César for 'deserved' recall

QPR goalkeeper Júlio César was one of the big names recalled to the Brazil squad by manager Luiz Felipe Scolari on Tuesday afternoon, with the coach praising the former Inter Milan keeper's recent form.

Júlio César, 33, has been in fine form for QPR in recent months and was hailed as "world-class" by club manager Harry Redknapp earlier this week after a fine showing against West Ham this weekend.

With strong competition from domestic-based candidates, it was far from certain that the London-based 'keeper would earn a recall. Scolari, though, believes his experience will be of great benefit.

"Among the names we discussed was Júlio," Felipăo told reporters. "Of course, I called him and asked him some things and told him that I would be watching his development in coming games, for a series of details.

"He has conducted himself very well in London, he's playing very well. I think that he deserves this for all he's done, for his experience and his performances at club level.

"We'll see how he does during the games and in camp. We'll see how he performs."
