So he doesn't trust the back four then?

            Only ribbing ya pal.

Tbh it's been our strongest asset lately only problem was when we got in the final third we were non existent. Now though with Remy we will score more, create more & when Zamora is back next week we'll have a real handful of a front pairing & that's when we'll really reap the benefits. Strong all over then but still need a CB & at least 2 midfielders imo.

Our CB's are both in their mid 30's and need cover from the midfield.

We took away some of that cover, to allow us to play a striker. Combined with a poorer display than recently from Derry and Mbia, and we struggled.

We still put our bodies on the line heroically, and stole a point, but we still need more defensive options, preferably at least one CB with any pace at all.

The way the midfield failed to protect the defence against Liverpool has meant that becoming a difficult side to break down has been the priority, at least until a better CB can be signed and a better attacking threat can be found. Remy is a start but with Campbell and Cisse going, another option is required (Bothryod is not the answer).
QPR need wins, but draws are better than defeats especially if the likes of Newcastle and Fulham can be sucked into the relegation fight.

Unfortunately we have had to stop being an attacking team due to the great big gap that gets exploited in the midfield and by sitting 5 across the midfield has given us the protection we needed which makes us hard to beat it also makes it hard for us to win games.

The thing that I think Harry does best is adapt his tactics to fit the players he has. That is why he seems to be able to get the best out of his players more so than most other managers. I think we are playing defensively, and will continue to play defensively for the rest of the season, because that is the style that best suits the players we have. As an example, Shaun Derry continues to be immense, even at his age and at this level. We don't have any attacking midfielders who would be as good going forward as SD is at defending. And I can't see us bringing in Messi before the transfer deadline!

We still have some good counter attack options to sneak a goal here and there and we are going to need them. Did we even touch the ball in the last hour today?

Playing 5 in midfield would be fine if we didn't have Derry, Mackie and SWP in it!

Another problem is we don't seem to have attacking midfielders apart from Taarabt.
