Seems to be direct quotes from Harry so the interest in Hangeland is there.

Decent player imo. I thnk he'd get a new lease of life if he came and find his best form again. Only a couple of years ago everyone was singing his praises.

In two minds if honest. Was highly rated 2/3 years ago but fear now if we signed him the way the Fulham fans have rated him this season they would view it the same as us taking Bobby and Johnson off them; players who have just passed their best and shipping them out

True, probably is past his best, but at his best was being talked of in the £10m+ brackets. He is only 31 which is not old for a CB, unlike AJ and BZ who are elder statesman when it comes to strikers. Also, even if he doesn't reach his best, he's still a better option than we currently have and would be a relatively small fee. Makes sense to me. Plus he's about 18 ft tall so assume decent in the air.

And his injury record is nowhere near that of AJ and Zamora.
