The point is that you shouldn't be 'looking at his record'. RicRoc was simply reporting what he'd heard, as are you tonight. I bet most people in the club, Ric's source amongst them, thought we'd signed Alex. Ric's source no doubt thinks we have M'Vila, same as yours does. Fair enough.

The issue is that people are credulous; they believe what they want to believe. So whenever someone pops up saying something positive, people are inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt. Often they're encouraged to think this by the OP/ITK themselves.

Is it really that 'nasty' of me to question why this hasn't been announced yet, if its a done deal? It clearly hasn't reached that stage yet, and even if he does join (I have no idea if he will - I think we're the most likely destination if he leaves this month though) in the next day or two, it certainly doesn't give anyone the right to crow about it.

Going on track records is silly. Duncan Jenkins had a great track record for Liverpool things, just by guessing. @Agent_ITK turned out to be a 16 year old. People are happily hanging off @theSource_footy or whatever he's called in the twitter thread - some random who's made a few educated guesses.
