At the end of the day he still hasnt signed for anyone. yet....

I think him / his agents / the club have made assurences to any interested party who's in the race (potentially us and Ruban) that a decision will be made today.

what's most likely happened is a fee's been agreed with Renne by both us and Ruban, and he's probably also agreed personal terms with both clubs, us first, but then Ruban if they made firm interest after. this could explain the latest talk he's now going to them, but could the fact its still dragging on mean he's just mulling over the options he has.... does he want to ignore his dream of going to play in the prem and a great playing environment and earning very good wages at a good club which could really put him in the shop window for the Man Utd's of this world, for more money short term, in a worse environment to play, in a poorer league and most importanly endure racial abuse more than likely....

Given the ootions, i wouldn;t be surprised if he still chose the Prem and us, assuming no other prem clubs have agreed terms and fee etc...
