In seriousness though, I don't actually know but I would hazard a guess at around £50k a week. I say this as he signed a new deal last year and, I imagine, during negotiations for this, he/his agent demanded to be put up on wages up there with Barton & SWP.

That would not only be fair, but justified. In fact he could have asked to be paid more than SWP.

He does remind me of a kid that just loves playing... And take everything! You can see it when he is up front on his own he just wants to drop deep and get the ball all the time. Not that it's a bad thing!
