At the moment all I want are goals from him to keep us up. And if he does the job, I'll be satisfied. But the fact will remain, he is just a mercenary, and will probably have no love or loyalty for the club.

Queens Park Rangers are close to completing the £8m signing of Loic Remy after hijacking Newcastle's move for the France striker.
The 26-year-old had been due to arrive on Tyneside for talks on Sunday night but did not appear.
QPR matched Marseille's asking price and have now offered Remy a more lucrative contract, understood to be more than £70,000 per week.
Remy had previously indicated he would not join the Loftus Road club.
Newcastle are privately stunned by the turnaround but there is a sense that if Remy sees the QPR offer as a better deal, then this setback may ultimately prove a blessing to the club.
QPR manager Harry Redknapp believes Remy's goals may be enough to lift the club away from relegation having scouted the player a number of times this season.

We're just gamblng that some new signings keep us up, which is fair enough.

Bosingwa is a lazy **** because he is a lazy **** who has run out of things to achieve, not because he 'came here for the money'. He was once a young 'greedy'/'ambitious' guy who went to Chelsea as they paid him a lot more than Porto did. And he tried there, not because he was paid so much, but because he cared about winning things, played under a good manager with excellent team spirit and so on

There have been numerous instances where a player could have earned more at a different club but stayed at their club.

No one cares if a player moves to further his career, but when a player is there just for the money, then that in my opinion makes him a mercenary.

His record this season is dreadful: 2 goals from 12 games; both goals are continental and only played 8 league games. Wonder why are this fuss for although his record is good in the last two season.

these 2 french guys are being very hyped up and sought by lots of clubs.
However, the PL is very different to other leagues and who knows if they're going to cut it here, huge gamble, obviously if they join and we go down, they will leave and we probably won't lose out anyway. If they help us stay up, they probably have huge bonuses built in and next season would be really interesting. The cost of relegation is so great, that our owners have thought we have to do whatever it takes and costs to give ourselves the best chance of staying up.
If they do join, I just pray they have some passion and fight along wth some real quality.
Love to see the 2 west broms guys join ,as they are proven in the PL
