I bet Redknapp told him he's not in his plans. I have been disappointed with Diakite. I could never see why so many of our fans rated him so much. Perhaps we will do a swap deal with Nancy seeing as Redknapp is off to France this weekend - similar to what we did with Marseille (Barton for Mbia)

He was different class in some games last year. Very Yaya Toure-esque in the way he played - albeit obviosuly not as good as Yaya!
