A few thoughts on tonight

A number of our players didn't turn up, particularly in the first half. We may as well have had 10 men instead of having Agyemang on the pitch.

Defence looked shaky, though I was very happy with most of what i saw from the new keeper apart from one mis-judgement of a back pass that could have easily have ended in a penalty.

Thought that some of our players underestimated their team, however, always thought that in the second half that we had the amunition on the bench to stretcth them if we needed.

THought Hogan had a good game and Tarabat looked class when he came on. Does look a few pounds overweight mind.

My final thought goes to the complete and utter **** that stood up twice and told Briatore to f*** off. Well done to the fan in the executive area that retaliated by telling the ****bag to f*** off. As disappointed as people are with the team performance there is absolutely no need for that type of personal insult at our club.

The stewards stood there and watched before ushering him away at the end of the first half. The guy then returned for the second half and did the same thing.

Ban **** like this from our club for good. It is bad enough watching a bad performance on the pitch but to have to listen to *****s like this guy is hard to stomach.

as much as people dislike briatore, atm its not him or the managers fault..

the players arent playing for the team or the shirt!

He is not the first manager to fail with this bunch of players. To be fair he does seem to have the same thoughts as many of the fans with regards certain players. Furthermore, I thought he called the subs spot on tonight.

Probably would have taken Vine off at one stage but him and Buzacky both needed to play full matches in order to improve their fitness.

Would love a leader on the pitch. Someone in the old Ray Wilkins mould.

scarily i agree with all of this conners but would also add the booing after 25mins or so and again at half time was ****poor by our support,matt connolly has hopefully got a chance to play cb and fair play to stanley whose players played well and supporters were superb especially the lttle blondie

For what it's worth,i was sitting right next to the c club last night.Flavio Briatore was about 10 feet to my left.All those who say he doesn't care about QPR should have seen his frustration with last night's performance.
He and Gianni Paladini threw each other loads of knowing looks-when a pass went horribly astray FB threw his hands in the air and yelled "NOOOO".

He cares alright-i just fear for the current manager and some of the players.

Totally agree that Briatore does care passionately about QPR. He attends most games and gets very agitated when things dont work out. At the Forest game he sat in the exec box for the whole of the half time break.

It is unfair to put all of the blame on him.

I am confident that Magilton will turn out to be ok, but some of the players attitudes are not good. The same can be said of some fans. We always talk about managers losing the dressing room. Maybe for some players it is more a case of the fans losing the dressing room.

Its easy to point the finger at Flavio.

The Wigan chairman is the kind of person the fans relate, as he is a people's man. We see Flavio as aloof and a bit above our station, but he cannot be blamed. He has ploughed good money into the club, he must want premiership football, at the end of the day he is a astute businessman. I don't blame him at all, he did get things wrong last season, but he came to the game Tuesday, apparantly always wants to know what is going at the club and he is paying the players wages.

If, I was paying these players say 5-10k a week and they performed like that, I would want to know why, wouldn't you? Flavio alone, has allowed us to get a better calibre of player in, its not his fault they are underperforming.
