I'd say this is good, he's a good player but we've already got a French striker with an attitude problem. Personally I'd like to see a Danny Graham or a Billy Sharp here. I got a feeling DJ will be a real handful too
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Surprised we were after him, to be honest.
Seemed like a mistake waiting to be repeated, never had a good feeling about the move, and am quite glad that it is off.

I'd rather QPR went for a striker who is cheaper, paid less and scores goes in a division harder than the French League. Hazard got 20 or so last season, Cole got 9 and even Chamakh scored more than 20 in his last season with Bordeaux.
I'd prefer bidding for Graham, Austin or Rhodes.

Graham/Austin and Rhodes are the ones we should target, younger and British :-)

Championship strikers are our best bet, gotta gamble , we will get mugged off again if we go for the big names that, lets face it, have put us in the sh it e to begin with

In that order, too. I agree.

Still a risk but a safer risk in my book.

We will need Harry to find someone to be The Ressurection
