I agree, as much as the players we are being linked with would be good additions I still can't see why the defence and striking department are not being looked at once again.
We have loads of Midfielders, ok some have not played to full potential but on there day Faurlin, Diakite, Mbia, Granero etc we shouldn't be spending money in that department unless its the right player for us.

Don't think it will happen, but we would stay up with Dawson, Rose, Diame, Remy and Hooper or Austin added to squad.

I don't, but I think the Diame bid has been made even with HR saying he is West Hams Player, The buyout clause if there to take advantage of!!
Think HR is keeping things a bit hush hush at moment, and can see new players arriving next week with some Big Names

I agree that Diame is a realistic (and quality) target. I trust Harry to fill the positions that need filling.

cant see any decent players coming with are current league position , of course greedy agents will be looking for pay days for aging stars but hopefully harrys wise to that. lets hope we dont buy anyone over 30

Fine he can put the ball in the box, but we still haven't got anyone who is gonna get on the end of these balls. Cmon Arry we need a forward aswell as a CB and extra cover for when Nelsen goes.

Excellent player but not a priority position. We already have Traore and Fabio, both of whom are better than the left backs of our rivals. We can't re-build an entire squad every transfer window.

Can't he also play right back? We don't need a left back but we do need a right back with Boswinga on his way out. We're not gonna sign Esso-Ekotu on a permanent transfer but a loan may be possible if he needs to get games under his belt!

I think Traore or Fabio is ok for left back.
Dyer or Onuhoa is fine for Right back.


Really we need a Centre Back!! Especially as Nelson Mandela is quitting.

Personally i would jump at the chance of him joining. I do like Traore but not as a left back. I've always been of the opinion that Traore is a better left sided midfielder and it would give us a better balance if we had a better left back with Traore at left midfield.

I know its not a priority position as CB and a striker are more important but still if he was available then snap him up.

Hopefully this transfer window as well as signing some we can also get rid of some of the dead wood we have on our books!!!!
