      He's far from geriatric

Seriously, I'm not saying too much other than I rate him.

I won't even say what type of striker he is as I can't be bothered playing the cryptic guessing game.
      Your mum would love me...

Why has the club only realised we need some top strikers! It's been clear since last season!

.....and the rest, try 3 seasons at least.

This of course is the problem with hanging manager quite as frequently as we do. A new manager should always review his available squad and assests and see how they fit in before buying/selling players to work things his own way. Needless to say, players try hard to impress and others (with a history iof injury) will be given time to proove themselves. Then and only then should the work be done. Each of our last 3/4 incumbents has had insufficient time to get it right and finally, JM has identified what is needed and hopefully will be able to act.

Before anyone else says it has been obvious for years: not to the current manager it hasn't, and let's face it, we do have a good squad on paper (including the likes of Vine and HH whose carrer records stand up by reputation at least) so JM can't be knocked for doing things this way.

Many wanted Keane as our new manager.........he's had an even worse start at Ipswich tahn JM has has here and yet it's only this week that he has gone on record as saying he now knows who won't play for him again, who needs work and who he wants in......and he accepts that he won't get all the players he wants coz it aint that easy.

Benny - Pete is really optimistic in my book and I would recommend not getting too carried away. I've had names confirmed by a few sources now and lets just say I'm not getting excited about one of them. The Arsenal lad sounds promising but in my eyes he can go either way. IS he gunna be like the Italian we had last season and did well at West Brom last time out but the Championship can be different as it's a lot harder. Lets put a lot of weight on a kids shoulder once again by the club!

The second striker has only ever broken the 10 goals a season mark on two occasions in his entire career and has a rough goals to games ratio of 1 in 5 looking at his stats. Hardly gunna make you cream your pants!

The only interesting player who I rate is yet ANOTHER MIDFIELDER! The ginger ninja from Wigan!

Like I said think don't get tooooo carried away people! SAME OLD RANGERS... Yeah we've FINALLY highlighted we are pants in front of goal, but we've a) left it too late for a decent name and b) no who is left won't float your boat.

Another season of bore draws. I hope I'm wrong and am made to eat my words. Then again I usually have things highlighted when I'm not on the money and would soooooo love for this one to be up their as my best one yet!

Bent would be a good buy, with simpson next to him and with the support they will be getting bent will score, and don't forget most of those goals are in the premiership

Not being funny, but sod the goal ratio. This guy is good enough to copmliment the other forwards and bring the midfield into play.

This is one of the ONLY strikers I'd like who is not an out and out goal scorer.
