          Exactly.

I paid money to watch Thierry Henry one night at The Emirates against Hamburg... just to say to the grandkids of the future that I'd actually seen him play live. Magical player, and the only player (apart from Hoddle) I've paid to watch.

He was s**t, and subbed after an hour.

He was voted League One Player of the Season two years ago, while at Millwall. They LOVED him. Even though he was often played wide right.
That's more relevant to our level.

well we sold our top goalscorer and our second highest last season was Heidar with 5.. so i'd say that was a safe bet.

                  Agree with that.

So a young inexperienced Simpson struggled at a side that was heading for relegation. What a big surprise. He was playing for a side that couldn't defend and was getting beat almost every week.

When Jason Roberts 1st played in the Prem, for West Brom, he struggled for goals. Yet a few seasons later, he did rather well for Blackburn.

He maybe big headed etc, but if he couldn't control the ball, does anyone really beileve he would still be at Arsenal who play a very attractive quick pass and move style?

Not very hard with our current strikers!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

He played 79 mins for the gunners ressies last night they won 3-0 vs fulham...he didnt get any mention in the match report.... apparently played upfront .I did find this quote though; 'Although Arsenal’s possession was unrelenting at times, they were lacking incision in the final third'.

Sounds like he'll fit in @ hq nicely:horror:

                                WBA fans?

QPR fans who haven't evn seen the bloke?

Arsene Wenger? - you know him, manages a bit, quite a good judge of a young player.

Hmmmm - difficult isn't it - who's the best judge?

I'll go with AW I think!
