                      He could partner Joe Jordan and Sir Les up front

                      If the club tries to buy to stay up they could go early (target WH on Jan19th) or late (write off January - March/April has winnable series of games).
                      Early could avoid some cricket scores off City/Spurs but there can be bargains available for a smart wheeler dealer later in the month too.
                      Could mix and match too or do something totally different or just not go for it. But if they do go early they only got 2 weeks really.
