Would everyone be happy with Charlie Austin? I certainly would be. He knows where the goal is, he's young and has bags of ability. Would love him here at QPR.

Redknapp brought through a lot of young players at West Ham for example so he can do that. But I don't see him dumping some fresh faced lad into the middle of a relegation scrap into a disfunctional team. Would be like throwing him to the wolves and a wild gamble. So if Harry chooses in January I expect any young players who come will be add ons this time around and he will get experienced players to try to clean up the mess.

Would be extremely surprising to me if only one striker is coming in but somehow it feels a little bit like preparing for the Champ with a forward like Austin, and that's is not a bad thing, of course we need to take a glimpse at the table. If we go down Cissé is out and in the Championship C. Austin will do well again. Also I believe this is the right way of thinking, search for hungry players who WANTS to play för QPR, not just for the pay check.

I would have him over Ba all day. Fair do ATM Ba is a better player, but he would command a big fee an even bigger wages and he would only leave Newcastle for us for more money IMO, not because we're a bigger club or because he wants to prove himself. Austin in the other hand would be the total opposite, cheaper, glad to be at a bigger club and desperate to prove himself at the highest level, no brainer for me
