Thanks for the advice. I did not intend to discuss the racial issue beyond my initial posts from weeks ago, but it was dragged back out into the open in my recent thread, and I was for the most part just responding to posts that questioned, criticized, attacked and mocked my stance on it. You are right, I was knowingly feeding the trolls for a while there to show everyone their true colors, and I knew it was a mudfight going in. Not surprisingly, I am also covered in mud at the moment.

I think the issue's been beaten to death by now, and it has already received the attention it deserved and then some, so in the future I will be more likely to report racist posts rather than respond to them personally. I do think it was necessary to openly discuss it at one point before starting to report people for it, because it was becoming a problem (in my opinion), and as far as I know there hasn't been any open discussion about it. For better or worse, the deed is done and I rest my case.

Two of best players in the world, Messi and Iniesta are even more lightweight than Park. However there's an inverse scale at work here, the smaller you are the more technical skill you need to possess at the top level. Although a certain size isn't a prerequisite to being successful, all things being equal it's an advantage to be bigger. Even you have to admit that it's kinda frustrating watching Park fall down so easily. However, Park has other qualities like being a consumate professional and a grafter who always makes himself available for a pass or makes the timely tackle, and occasionally popping up with the odd game-winner. These are less obvious but no less valuable qualities but will eventually show up throughout the course of an entire season. Park is by most accounts a quiet individual by nature who would rather contribute and be part of the team rather than lead a team. Being captain is an added pressure that I'm sure he didn't ask for and as the season has progressed and QPR's standing in the table has shown, failed miserably at. There's no embarrassment admitting that. Park hasn't produced as expected as of yet. However, given the opportunity, I believe his other traits will shine and he'll come good. Especially with a team that's in such turmoil, unselfish professionals is what QPR needs. What I also believe is that you're visiting a QPR forum and should show a bit more respect and not be overly sensitive. They're last in the table and of course the mood here will be a bit surly, but they seem to be a good-natured, self-deprecating bunch, no need to sour it with claims of racism and stoke the negativity.
without prolonging our misery with adding to this thread, i have to say credit where credit is due. this is a good post which ultimately shouldve ended the thread on a good note.

Im no more a troll than you are a QPR fan pal, lets remember that

The only 'trolls' that show up on this board are usually shown the door pretty quickly, which is why I am amazed you and that other pleb jaejaxon are still around.

I did not name you as a troll, but feel free to identify yourself as such. If you do not like being associated with the word, it may help to be more constructive in your posts.

Furthermore, I am not constantly making posts to the effect that "I am a QPR fan", so why are you following me around telling me that I am not? It is not as though you have any kind of authority on the matter, in fact no one has that kind of authority.

I would also appreciate it if you stopped personally attacking me. After our (less than constructive) discussion ended the other day, you continued to make snide remarks about me and in one post explicitly said "this Joon is no good for the forum whatsoever". In your above post, you did specifically call me a troll. So, between you and me, who really is calling names?

This is going to be the last time I respond to your posts for a while. I'm done mudfighting for the week.

''Trolls'' - implying more than one, and since it was mainly me and Vblock having a conversation with you its safe to assume it was me you was referring to.

I am not 'following' you around ffs, this is a public forum where we respond to comments posted in threads. What a ridiculous statement. You seem to think you're clever pal, i'll give you that.

not worth arguing with him anymore Northolt. It was Fraggy that asked him to stop feeding the trolls so i assume he was referring to us. So when it comes down to it this kid makes 41 posts moaning about racism on the board but we are trolls for responding?

Nope, most of those 41 posts were made in a single thread of my own opening. It became so many because I was responding to posts.

I love the old adage.."Opinions are like arrse holes; everybody's got one!"

Everybody sees the world in different ways (basic psychology) and it's possible for a myriad of interpretations. For instance, it might be possible to suspect someone of being anti-Semitic and racist based on the composition of their username. There are a billion soapboxes on the internet, a bit like 'Speakers A1'. You won't convince anyone to change their mind because they don't have to.
