Hope this thread ends in that way mate. I am afraid there will be a waves of foolham fans coming here to lurk around the likes of korean related threads (sigh)
Though the first post of this thread shows some sound argument.Comment

No need to be afraid. You're an odd one, aren't you? I can appreciate that your a fan of QPR, as am I (or however much of a fan I could be of something that I didn't really know anything about 5 months ago) but your lack of self-awareness is amusing.Comment

I missed these last few sentences earlier. I have been as respectful as I could be under the circumstances. Like some others, you appear to be ignoring the obvious racism in the post that I've had to quote too many times now. What I also believe is that you're visiting a QPR forum and should show a bit more respect and not be overly sensitive. They're last in the table and of course the mood here will be a bit surly, but they seem to be a good-natured, self-deprecating bunch, no need to sour it with claims of racism and stoke the negativity.
You keep emphasizing that Koreans are relatively of lighter build, and like others are choosing to ignore the latter and more problematic part of the sentence which finishes off by saying that Asians are too lightweight to play football and that they should just play ping pong or shuttlecock. And no, it was not a good-natured comment by any means.
My right to speak out against racism where I've seen it is far more important to me than the annoyance you experienced reading my posts, and I am in turn annoyed that you have the gall to question my right to do so.
The truth of the matter is that the Korean national football team have nearly identical height to the Spanish national football team. Are they too lightweight to play football too?
The post in question was obviously meant to demean Asians in general. Although you may be fine with it, I am not and neither would most Asians be fine with that statement.
Some of my posts have indeed been abrasive, because I was responding to similarly unpleasant posts. I'll add yours to the tally now.Comment

I've met people like you before. People who like to argue for the sake of arguing. You're swimming upstream here. Life is short, let it go.I missed these last few sentences earlier. I am what I am, and I respect your view that I am odd one. However you can't change me
and I lack self-awareness? methinksnot
I knew QPR alot earlier than 5 months ago, if you are mistaken.
But there is no special privilege in that.
You and I are equally righted fans of QPR.
its ok to find me amusing, I never hated it.
All I am trying to do now is to end this discussion as it isn't necessary atm.
you've done your part really really well. and I really do like your first post.
if you have any question, should you PM me anytime :=):Comment

And likewise I have met people like you. People who look the other way when they see someone being subjected to racism. You do look in the mirror every morning, I presume?Comment
-
Fair enough, to each his own. But is fighting injustice as an internet cop for what you perceive as racism really the best use of your time?Comment
