              was this when qpr fans were ambushed in a pub and then nicked for trying to get out/ defend themselves??
              some cases ongoing i think??

                      The article yields no coherent account of the procedure/method that allowed him to perform this sequential nicking of 8 people. Are we to assume that once nicked, each person abruptly calmed down and politely waited while he was nicking others? Did he just line them up in the bar, one by one, and then they all obediently marched away? I doubt he had 8 pairs of handcuffs so did he drag them one by one into the police van? But in that case he should have had a partner with him, doubt they drive their vans solo? The public wants to know how he did it!!!
