Can you honestly say that with Barton playing we would have put in the lazy/mediocre and non caring performances we have done recently? Not a chance. Barton regardless of anything else would have given rockets up ar*** which is what they need.

Our midfield currently needs him. None of them seem or want to battle or show any fight. Bring him back Harry!

I dont like Barton, and his actions at City could have ended in disaster, but have to agree that the lack of fight in the team has been evident this season and as a result would take him back. Unless of course, the team's attitude and performances from now on prove they do have what it takes.

Bring Joey back. It's been dull without him. We've got nothing to lose. He'll come back to the premiership in a flash. Hughes was stupid to have got rid in the first place.

He had some poor games granted, but even when playing poorly he still got other players to fight for the cause and put in maximum effort. Our midfield is worse off and weaker without him. Proved by Southampton/Swansea/Reading for example walking through it numerous times. Would never have happened with Barton in there. Granero/Ale/Samba are great on the ball. None of them do the ugly stuff though and win it very often. Samba tries but gets the usual yellow card. We need him back.
