With A.J & Zamora out long term, Cisse out of form Hughes should recall D.J. Campbell from Ipswich to give us some options up front? he cant do any worse than the others we've tried so far? at least he's scoring for the tractor boys. or in Jan we have to get a couple of good strikers in on buy or loan I just cant see us scoring enough goals to get us out of the S##T otherwise

I would bring DJ back - He never really got a chance, as he had far too many injuries.

Dave - that is pointless. His loan expires at the turn of the year so leave him where he is, playing games, hopefully keeping fit and scoring goals. If that continues then yes, recall him and put him in the squad in January. But there's no point him coming back now as he can't play before January anyway.

the same thing about loanees playing against their 'parent' club?

Campbell cannot be recalled to play until January.
Fabio cannot play against Man Utd.

The current squad of 25 players including the injured Johnson and Zamora is the only one available for selection apart from throwing in the young players.

So until January, Hughes (or whoever) will have to work with the 23 fit players and kids.
