I started the thread as after watching the interview i got the impression there maybe other clubs interested in him and wondered what his contract terms were..He may well have a clause in the contract which allows him to leave if another club triggered the clause? which happens frequently these days.

Im sure someone schooled at R Madrid would walk over broken glass to play for WHU and be able to 'hit it long to the big man' week in week out.

This will probably prove unpopular - but I don't rate him - what exactly has he done for us other than nice passes (normally backwards or sideways) - 4 yellow cards and 1 goal v WBA which made no difference - I'd rather Barton in that position
