Gotta try and get him on a loan deal at the worst, If he does well then he shows Man City what he can do in the Prem and if they dont want him then he would be up for grabs.

For me he is in the exact same mould as Cisse.... Great finisher, lightnigh quick but work rate and attitude at times questionable.... Lets just play Cisse FFS!

Bent always has and always will score a hatful on this division with good service ( something he's not getting at villa ) . I would love him at rangers and people who say they don't want him here is utterly ridiculous . Lets not forget that inside the last few years we've had the likes of Brett angel , Eric Sabin and Marc nygard leading the line . Regular goal scorers at this level are rarer than you think and he's worth at least 10 million in this current climate , goals win games .

Ate bad chicken and got an infection from hell - couldn`t use his leg properly and lost a lot of muscles. Signed a new contract with City in October 2012. Back in full training but not match fit.

Darren Bent is not worth 14m, even to us. I'd put him in the 4m-6m range. If we pay that kind of money for him then it is a panic buy.

How do you arrive at that conclusion given his strike record in the Premier League?

At his age, £14M is way too high, but he is a goalscorer who can almost guarantee 15 goals a season.

Really hope not priority should be 2 quality centre backs and maybe a striker but not Bent? £14 M seems a lot of money for him

Bent and Cisse are the same type of player. Cisse is much better. Play him and spend the money on a CB.
