Well I spoke to Gianni at the bristol city game,and he said we did go in for beckford that day,but leeds were being totally unrealistic and asking for 10 million,at which point the club kindly told them where to go......So it seems we are looking.

Definitely FAR FAR too late. We are a whole 3 games into the season now, being promoted/reaching the playoffs is MILES out of sight.

You gotta take that with a pinch of salt ...remember when we weren't going to let cook go for anything less than £10 million ...remind me how much did he go for in the end?

Exactly if Beattie and Chopra were signed from Premiership clubs into the Championship for £4m then an untried at this level League One player isn't going to be worth more than them.
