What if he tries to catch it and spills it to an opposition player? Like Green did a couple of times in pre-season and got driven out of the first team.

Let him play the way he's been coached and always played tbf

I'm very happy with his performances so far, and I'm more concerned that he stays fit than his goalkeeping style tbf
But thats the point if this was Green doing this he'd be hammered, It's not good keeping whoever does it ...pushing the ball back into play is not the way, it will get noticed, if he parries he has to push it around the post or over the bar

Brilliant keeper. That save from Giroud just before the goal that never should have stood was superb.

Brilliant keeper or here for one last payday?? not convinced has let in some very soft goals. Think if he was still brilliant he wouldn't be playing for QPR

People keep going on about the West HAm goal.. it was deflected at the last minute ffs, if not he'd have caught it easilly. Such a late deflection was impossible to react to in time.

Not if none of the goals were his fault i wouldn't.

AS for Readin.. where was he at fault there, some people mentione the back heel, which went just inside the far post.... and others the FK which went Wall side, and just in off ther underside of the bar just inside the post... how the hell was he supposed to get that?

Top class keeper ain't he? That backheel was pathetic no other word for it pathetic, the West ham goals if he had come to claim the cross then some bloke at trhe far post wouldn't have had the chance to tap it in

Julio Cesar is a top quality keeper.
No ifs, no buts, just simply a top quality keeper.
I love it that he plays for us.
One over-cocky ArseAnal fan said to me coming out the ground, 'can we sign your keeper January?'
I said, 'fark off, one daylight robbery a season is more than you deserve as it is.'
He took it in good spirits, not that I gave a flying fark.

Fair enough.... just want to say even though I have pointed out what I think are possible probs in his game....as has been pointed out to me and I have to agree he has prob always played this way and had a very successful career, so who am i to question, and no doubt without him today arsenal could have scored 6
