He did a lot more today than Zamora, and yet is the target for abuse again. The fact also is that it's only he or Mackie who could play right with Park out.... Hoilett and Taarabt cant. He was only playing due to injuries. HE had a shocking wayard pass and a couple of overhit crosses, but he also got some good ones in that weren't attacked, worked the channel and generally retained posession well, which is what he'd have been asked to do.

The annoyance for me is Zamora who does nothing... but i have less beef with him than Hughes, becasue he is being chosen ahead of a striker who actually knows whet the posiution is all about and is a threat. PLaying against BZ defenders know they have little to worry about.

didnt think he was too bad. he's no world beater but other than that useless pass that was almost a carbon copy of what cost us the game last year i thought he looked one of our better players first half.
