I guess recently its fair to say -
1. Our expectations have risen
2. We have a squad that is underachieving 'Currently'
I think its clear that -
1. We are conceding silly goals
2. Not starting games quick enough
Ok that out the way - Because I am fully aware of the stats and results; of which I have seen first hand by turning up each week to watch it (Thinking as all us Hoops fans do "WE WILL WIN TODAY")
I think as a fan of any team, you want one thing and one thing only. WINS! - It never really matters who the win is against, just a win. Sadly we really are struggling, we couldnt buy a win with all the money the Mittals have.
However; we really must stay grounded and together. Lets face it, this Saturday is going to be HARD!!! and it is really unlikely that we will get 3 points.
Anton - I honestly cannot believe why people think he is terrible. By no means is he a top 6 or even ten PL defender. But he is a PL defender and can do a job for us! On form he can be very good.
Park - Superb player. Works solid for 90 minutes and never stops. He kept Baines quiet for 90 minutes, some of his tackles he put in was great. Im sorry but if you think the guy is useless 'suddenly' then you really need a reality check (We maybe losing games, but he didnt just become SH1T because of it.) The ball he made to Adel against WBA was superb. Good players will produce good things together - Allow it time.
Cesar - He was super unlucky against Everton, had that not gone in. We would of won! FACT. Really unlucky goal. The guy is a superb shot stopper and always looking to get the ball on the ground from the back.
Mbia - NOT A CM!! He is a very skilful CB. Good with his feet, reads the game very well. No issue here, glad we have him.
Hoillet - Should be starting! No idea why he hasnt (Mark Hughes had this wrong - SWP has zero confidence when he runs at defenders)
Cisse - Needs to lose his ego (Just slightly as I know this makes him the player he is) But seriously, the guy hardly moves.
Zamora - Suddenly another Sh1t player???? He's scoring, hes holding and linking up play. Another play to moan at.
The point is, no matter how the team play. Some people will go out thier way to create threads or shout abuse at games at a player. So many threads have appeared over the last few days and I just cannot understand it.
1. Swansea 2nd Half we played poor
2. WBA First 15 minutes killed us
3. WHU first half killed us
These games we should have won but even though we did lose, we still played well in parts.
I think after we play Southampton, Reading and Villa - Then we can moan.
By then we should be a better team and these games we just cannot lose.
We must think of the positives. Against a very good Everton team, we played well for the best part of the game.
Theres no point in finding exscuses and moaning at players for no reason...
These players are genuinley good - Class is permanement!!!!
