But Scub mate surely that goal today is an individual error. I will agree we had a dodgy 5 mins after the goal that we looked awful and set pieces in the 2nd half were not great but we haven't had our 1st choice defenders for weeks, and the more they play together the better they'll get.

This thread is about Hughes. His job is to identify and buy good quality players, mould them into a team, motivate them and get the best out if them.
He has failed to buy top defenders who concentrate for 90 mins. There are def glimpses of us having good quality just need to be more consistent

easist job in the world is being a critic of a team not picking up 3 points when its thought you should. we got players in that genuinely excited fans and we should respect what the owner has done in as far as getting the club into a position where we compete every game on a near level footing. we've had a terrible start regarding picking up points but any fool can see the progress we are making. looked a decent team today-controlled long spells of the game. my worry is a good finisher/striker to play off zamora and a proper centre half will be a problem. watching us today i felt we more than matched a good premiership team and considering what some people predicted i reckon we're making the right steps. imo we will improve the squad in jan and the 3 odd players we need will arrive to a settled team. sort the defense with 2 and gary hooper(facto lol) or a finisher and we will be a happy lot again. our expectations are high but lets not forget where we came from......
no offense but the fans we have in sections of the ground that are here to follow certain players because their from any given country can stick their tourist tickets up their a rse.we are a football team not any one man commidity fc. u rs from a ranger.

Today was yet another soft goal. Players like Onuoha and Ferdinand seem to have regressed under Hughes.
Neither of whom were on the pitch for their goal.

Like Felt, I am also concerned about the defensive coaching. For me, it comes down to poor organisation - we were lucky not to concede a second goal from a set-piece in the second half (Cesar pulled off an amazing save). They're clearly not doing enough work on the training ground.
