Heard an interview with Clarke Carlisle earlier today and he spoke very well indeed on the issues. Alan Brazil was clearly stating he thought Terry and Anton should have just shaken hands at the end of the game and moved on but as Clarke said in what other job would you get away with such language being tolerated in the workplace and STOP making excuses for Terry.

And in what other job do you get away with verbal abuse that isn't racist, violence, assault and GHB? Because you do in football. Don't compare it to the office for Christ sake, because it isn't one.

Are you forgetting that one of our players committed crimes that are more serious than calling someone names last year "if it was in the office" he would would have been in court.

Why don't we just continue to talk about Terry for the rest of our lives?

I see John Terry has decided not to appeal his fine and ban, and has apologised for his language.

Even more embarrasing for him is that the Chelsea Chairman has apologised to Anton too.

Thats the first time I have actually heard someone from Chelsea actually admit AF did nothing wrong in all this but it still doesn't excuse the fact Terry thinks he also did nothing wrong. Chelsea should have taken the Captaincy off him then I might just have had a little bit of respect for them but apologising on his behalf is just plain embarrassing.........another great job JT keep it up because you are in the last chance saloon.
