We can see it, opposition fans can see it, but why cant anybody at the club?

1. look at all the strikers who are proven to score goals in the CC
2. look at the realistic ones
3. GO PUT A BID IN FOR THE ONE UNTIL HE SIGNS

That is so boring and predictable. How about this instead:
1. look for obscure players worldwide that neither excel nor speak much English
2. try to sign them because loaning is just not cool
3. if the player's club is daft enough not to let us sign him, then loan him
4. trumpet him as the next best thing since sliced bread was invented
5. see him fail miserably after an initial ray of hope, unable neither to perform nor to adapt to life in Blighty
6. repeat starting from point 1 and do so ad nauseam
