Us fans who may not go to many games know we need a striker. Pete on the other hand sees the games a lot and still think we don't need one when we do.

I think thats what ****es people of mainly over this.

He wasn't a poaching goal scorer in my eyes. He had his chances and failed like Agyemang and Helguson! He is no far better than those two.

He is average jesus wept just like the rest of our strikers.

Yep and the thing is 99.9% of all people agree that we need a forward for some reason Pete does not.

Cant get my head round that either.

But lets not be to harsh on him he is hardly responsible for team selection or transfer dealings.

Funky the problem with Pete and yourself is you both drink to much and your **** ed by the time you get out of the pub and into the ground. The fact that Pete is your best mate doesn't mean you have to come out and defend him. He should come on here and apologise for this sh it posts of late. People try and put him right but he is very stubborn.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

pete cannot be blamed for perfomances on the pitch. he can't be blamed for the faliure to sign a striker. he can't be blamed for the choice of manager.

he may frustrate us with his views but he can't be blamed

If I want to drink 45 pints before a game on my weekend that has nothing to do with anyone.

I'm stating the obvious I've kjnown Pete two years and although I class his as a friend hardly best mates.

I'm not looking for an answer from him straight away. If he can afford to travel all over the place following the team, good luck to him. If it's because he's waiting to see all Taarabt's 15 goals for us he'll be sadly disappointed. I'e made plenty of effort over the years to support the club home and away, and I have, I'm pretty sure been to many many more games than he has, so don't please peddle that old loyal supporter crap to me.

It is a FACT that he has been taking a line re our strikers that no one else who supports the club does. And it's highly likely that his reasoning is fairly similar to that of the board who do not/can not/will not spend the money required to rectify the problem. I can understand the board being naive about what's required, but not someone who spends his own money to travel all over the place watching the same inadequacies being trotted out game after game. Not someone who has an ounce of sense anyway.
