a cracking goal by maynard won it for them. gorkss was playing when we conceded with a sloppy goal saturday. maybe jim was trying to avoid this.

a striker would have made all the difference to our season. this game can not be blamed on the defensive choice
Agreed look at the Plymouth v Cardiff score says it all really they have a top forward who we did not spend the money on.

We flogged Blackstock and replaced him with winger Taarabat who is playing upfront.

Vine Buzzacky and Ageyman are all coming back from long term injuries I have no idea why a forward was not top of our shopping list.

We must be more clinical upfront

    We need a striker

    OBVIOUSLY

More concerning to me is the messing with WHAT worked.

Our defence shouldnt be touched - improved maybe but the best bits not touched

we should flog hall asap - indeed, i hope GP does it on the sly just to make sure we get our best CB options.

Probably be difficult to tell Pete on match days I can barely walk by 1 PM after I have finished by 15th pint of Diamond White let alone see the game.

Perhaps PM him to let him know that you think we need a forward?

Funnily enough he might get that impression when he reads the message board when he arrives back.

We have moved on but with all due respect Blackstock got his 2nd goal for Forest and had we not of got rid of him he'd continue to bang in the goals for us right now....moving on swiftly, we haven't replaced him properly and I urge the powers that be as well as JM who I am sure is aware to step up their advances on a provenn striker. Its been mentioned countless times and something I hope is sorted sooner rather than later.
As for Faurlin, I've uet to see him so will not judge him and knock the guy down. We all have our opinions yet at this stage of the season even though its early doors, i'm quite deflated right now.
Yep and the thing is 99.9% of all people agree that we need a forward for some reason Pete does not.

Cant get my head round that either.

But lets not be to harsh on him he is hardly responsible for team selection or transfer dealings.
that might be the case, but his "best mate" is involved, there's being loyal to your mates, that i can understand, but when it becomes "embarrassing" that's the time to 1) move on 2) tell your mate, he's a nob 3) tell your mates how the fans are feeling 4) tell your mate he hasn't a clue

    get my drift
