Quite funny those that are having a go at Pete....
exactly but magilton will be under alot of pressure from the fans and the board to play attacking football. magilton will not be in control of transfers.
we conceded two sloppy goals. he tried to sort this out. with a striker things would be different
but he dropped a striker who actually scored last week....pellicori scored in the cup game...was dropped...you know that strikers are confidnce players.....gorkks dropped.....because magilton has no faith because of the plymouth goal...or because he has to play hall?
so the solutions are either go back to the way we played last season or buy a couple of good strikers.
Magilton is known for tinkering...done it at ipswich and was hated for it.

Sam ok I will use the same old sentence once again. I have played central defence at a decent level and you need to stop tinkering with a side. I played 38 games with the same centre back and we built a great understanding and really complemented each other. Vidic and Ferdinand are a prime example of this. Gorkks and connelly should be developing there partnership and for some reason that is not happening. Same goes with centre forwards. Have tarrabt and Agyemang even played together before. To have success we need to know our best players and that doesn't seem to be the case. Leaving connelly out is very odd. If he was injured why was he on the bench on the last 2 league games?
we have been told connelly is not 100%. he should not be risked.
so Mr.expert when you played at the back and someone hit a cracking strike did it mean you and the other center back was **** or was it the managers fault. no it didn't and no it wasn't . did you ever concede? because i believe that you must have done at some point. was this the managers fault?
if a striker has a bad few games he is dropped. the same goes with the defense.
you should also know that most of the chemistry in the team comes directly from the training ground. this is where you perfect your partnership. whether it be defense, midfield or up front
i have to ask what level in the system did you play at?

gorkss was part of the defense that conceded two soft goals. it is th managers job to sort this is what he did. remember maynards goal was a good goal not a 2 yard tap in.
we all know the problem is up front not at the back and certainly not with the manager.
but we cannot afford to tinker with the defence as there is too much pressure to keep a clean sheet as the strikers don't score......so the solutions are either go back to the way we played last season or buy a couple of good strikers.

I must of missed this attacking football.
In the 1st 15 mins we looked dangerous against blackpool, with attacking football then we ran out of ideas. Without a fit buzz and a fit vine we are very ordinary, so I don't think we have the players to play wonderful attacking play without the 2 names mentioned.
so bar delaney we have played the defence that was so good last season?

gorkss was playing against two of the favourites to be relegated. when we played a team expected to finish mid table and upwards we still only conceded one. i simply don't get the argument.
we conceded an easy goal against blackpool and an even easier one at plymouth. maybe jim wanted to stop this and shake the defense up. i can totally understand this.
