Stop talking about sacking our manager

everyone's in this for the long term. we are rangers fans, we are hardly going to jump ship to another team just because we sell a player we all like to them.

the board are in it for the long term too (at least the next 3+ years). they have invested heavily to support this. mh takes a longer term view than just 1 season too, putting in the backroom staff, scouting system etc. etc. which will hopefully be firm foundations for the future.

for most of the players we have signed recently, they all have relatively decent and realistic lengths of contracts (without being ridiculous like in the paladini era).

after just 7 games so far this season we should not be clamouring for heads. we should be accepting that by the same premise that it took us a long time to get back into the prem, us consolidating our position in it won't happen overnight.

i agree that come the turn of the year if the situation is dire, then perhaps action may need to be considered, but ffs, not now, no way. still all to play for. so stop talking about sacking our manager and get behind the team, the board and hughes!
    come on you r's!

Personally after 5 games I was expecting a minimum of 20 points and +20 goal difference with a place in at least 1 final. Hughes needs to go.

Not such thing as transition of new players from all over the globe meeting for the 1st time, having the upheaval of moving their families, accomodation, language, training with new team mates, playing with them, not to mention playing in a league whch they're not used to.
Can't believe we couldn't beat Man City, Chelsea and Spurs. I'd tear up the new players contracts and the managers asap.

They are supposed to win every game from the word go
the sooner we and they realise that the better

Well according to some, Chelsea, Spurs and Man City range from rubbish to mediocre. The fact that they are all bedding in new players too, seems to be lost on them.

can't believe we didn't thrash them all

              Spurs have been playing badly
Chelsea are where they are because they have had easy fixtures so far and they will not end up in the top 3
Man City have had a poor start and are struggling

If you think either of these teams are on fire just because they have big names, you clearly have not watched them play this season.

I don't think people are really looking for MH to be sacked, but I can understand some of the backlash at present. People are frustrated because we haven't won a league game yet. Then again, we've played the league champs, the euro champs and got a point, and a team that came fourth last season. Two of those games were away, and bear in mind no one won at the Etihad last season. The Swansea game was ridiculous, and Norwich away we got a point.

We're always going to question tactics and team selection, but it's far too early to call for his head.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

What points return had you hoped for after our first 5 games Marshy?

Real Madrid have been playing badly, should we be able to get a result against them?

I have watched them play and you're right about their form but we're not at their level yet are we, even when they are below form. We also have lots of new players and it takes time to gel. Does every club get instant success every time they have a spend up?
Hope & optimism is one thing, realism is another

Well said Busheyboy, to be talking about sacking MH at this point is crazy talk! That isn't the way to get better.
'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

exactly, don't you forget Granero chose us coz he knows they're finished. He's talking to Ronaldo, Ozil, Marcelo and Benzima to get them to come and all
