    Stewards

Last week we spoke about the stewards at LR and the attitude they have, well maybe its not just us. If anybody is watching MOTD did you see when Clyne scored for Southampton he ran into the crowd to celebrate his first prem goal and the stewards rushed to grab him and what looked like the chief steward pushed him towards the pitch and shouted at him "FUC*ING TW*T",what is it with these people are they more powerful than the police !!!!!!!

I agree mate. I hate how players can't celebrate with their fans. It's because it might incite the opposition? Well surely that's not down to the players to control, that actually IS the steward's job.

Why don't we let players celebrate with fans, and stewards actually do something which isn't stopping people having fun!

Yeah i agree, its different if they go towards the away supporters and celebrate but they are stopping the intergration with there own fans, these stewards should be seen but not heard, they seem to be on a power trip.

Yeah, doing what Adebayor did to the Arsenal a few seasons back, although it was funny, is going to be provocative but that's clearly different to a player jumping into his own fans etc. Crazy!

Some stewards just want to make a name for themselves. Maybe get on MOTD.

I think stewards are only there to make there money. When players jump into the crowd it must take a while for the stewards to calm the fans down again. Feel sorry for them if I am honest. There was no need for Clyne to do that.

used to be a bit of bunce where supporters done the stewarding at their home games, think it should be brought back and use a private company to moniter the away support.
I must away now, I can no longer tarry

Those damned fans, if only they'd do just sit still and not do anything but watch the game! Why don't they think about the stewards instead of having a good time!
