thinking back to games like stockport away (£12 if i recall) would i enjoy going to WHL nearly 4 times as much? hmm.

all about price for me (plus the fact that i am in cheshire that weekend). but at more than £35 a ticket i have to pick my away games carefully unfortunately.
    come on you r's!

Me and 3 others are going-had to pay £167 for our tickets.... that's the biggest reason our away attendances are dropping.

Including the ticket, beer, food travel etc it will be close to £80/£90 day out. We're s**t away from home under Hughes- I can totally understand why people are swerving it.

I'm being far more selective about which away games to go to at this moment in time.

Presumably we have taken an additional allocation? Pretty sure the upper sold out and the Club have exercised the right to a second batch? Not sure how many were available in the first place but once we've all taken up the option as ticket holders, members get the rest so fans that are neither now get to buy up the extra?

Got 600 extra I think mate. I got one in the Upper today and theres 2 seats left up there now plus a couple hundred in the lower.

There's still over a week to buy the tickets, so it will sell out.
Tbh I'm more worried that the Chelsea game hasn't sold out yet

Cheers - I assumed the upper would have sold out to ST's and members in short time. So what you are saying is upper is sold out bar 2 - so that's 1,598 and of the extra 600 we've sold about 400 - so a total of around 2,000?
If there's only 200 odd left and they only went on general sale today, I guess they will be gone before the weekend. A total of 2,200 tickets all sold which, considering the prices and this flipping economic climate, aint that big of a deal?
I only put it like that because I'm sure some people have said it's a disgrace that they had to go on general sale whereas it seems only the extras have done?

It has. ONly a few odd seats scattered around in family stand which will never fully sell out every seat due to the fact you need an adult n child together to sit there.

I think Jack's problem is he has read what that MK Dons fan was saying about it not selling out and he believed him. Sun reader or :drunk:?

I'm actually looking forwards to the WBA away game, very cheap prices, also travel is cheap, the 1400 should sell quite quickly

Always a good atmosphere there too - all in all a good day out and good value too.

Thats what I am led to believe mate yes.

Tis a good point you make at the end. Seems like members & ST holders sold out, hense the additional 600 for general sale? BY sounds of it they will sell out by the game anyway.

Looking forward to WBA away too- get on the cheap train tickets now if any of you are going. Was gutted with how we did up there last season considering how many we took.

If we beat Chelsea on Saturday, the remaining Spuds tickets will sell no problem, IMHO.
