We dont seem to be taking a particularly big away following to games so far this year. I know there are reasons why, ie games on TV, expensive etc but it is a shame.

Ive been working for both away games so far, so spuds will be the first away game for me this year, but things will pick up after a couple of wins no doubt

Now I am stuck with my Arsenal friend. I told him I won't be able to get ticket with QPR fans as I expect they would be sold out soon. He asked me to go together and sit with home fans. Now it looks like I can get ticket with QPR fans.

its a poor effort no matter what excuses are conjured up. all well and good digging out other sides away supports but if we cant take just over 2k to spurs then we need to take a look closer to home!

£37-41 per ticket. take a tenner off this and these tickets would have sold out by now gauranteed double dip recession and all that. Money doesn't grow on trees I'm afraid...

Also the novelty of PL may have worn off.

Dont think any novelty has worn off, its just a few reasons probably why people are not racing out the traps to get to this.

Like said above at £41 when on Sky too, with cost of a few drinks before and after, its a bit of a no brainer for people who are stuggling a little financially.

Baring in mind the start weve had too, I think a lot of people, me included thought we would have had a far better start, and if that had of been the case, Im sure a few more would have been more inclined to have bought tickets already.

Our away form has been pretty woeful for a while so can totaly understand why some might be giving away games a miss, but Ill always go if Im not working regardless

when i was travelling away in championship/div 2 (and didn't go to all) the tickets were much less. it is a question of price for me. WHL is a dive IMO anyway and it's late on sunday and i'm working early monday.

last season a lot of fans who had travelled sporadically across the past 13years all came out in their droves - and started going Away. whereby before it was a case of "are you going to watford/rochdale/bury/plymouth" "yeh mate/no, prob miss that one" last season everyone wanted to go to all the games as we hadnt been to so ground in over a decade. this year, with stability and the fact that we went there last year, there's less of a rush to get to anfield/whl/OT....because the price is high, and not what we're used to.

It was bound to happen sooner or later, people are now REALLY being priced out of football. £41 for a match ticket at Spuds, is at least £10 too much.
It's less money we have in our pockets now, unless you're a MP, Banker, or any other shady character like that.
